∇brüd

∇brüd is an internet connected coffee maker that automates the coffee making process from bean to carafe. For many people, waking up is a necessary chore. This chore can mostly be automated to make a more pleasant morning routine. Ultimately placing our bodies in the right mood to function at a high-level throughout the day. The problem with many competitors, other coffee makers, is they require you to perform several steps that can all be automated with the right equipment. Some companies have created convenient pod form factors which take less steps but are single serve, create plastic waste, and present a much less customizable coffee experience. Ideally, a smart coffee maker can sustain automatic operation for about a week before needing to add water, beans, or clean the grounds bin. It could also adapt to a user’s coffee preferences such as bitterness, texture, or the type of bean being brewed. These are the features the ∇brüd will boast. About a week’s supply of robust and automatic coffee in the user’s carafe every time they want a fresh cup of coffee. Because we want to save money, have better coffee, and eliminate steps from our morning routine.

Journal entries are just that, entries written in a public journal that thoughtfully consider our daily lives.
